Young Medalists Coaching Program
A premier junior cycling program and the home of future champions

The program is developed and operated by Olympian and World Medalist May Britt Hartwell. Originally from Norway, she was introduced to the sport of cycling in 1978 at age ten. May Britt is bringing a Scandinavian and European way of coaching to the USA with her Young Medalists Youth and Junior Bicycling development program.

The Young Medalists Program is a Bicycling Racing Education and Development Program that offers three different levels of coaching programs to suit riders at leisure to national and international level of junior cycling.

2008 PA and NJ Junior State Road Race

Countdown to the 2008 Junior Road State Championship - Only 16 days to race start. See announcement for flyer and registration!

This is the first time in years there will be a state road race held for the juniors in Pennsylvania. The race distances are close to what racers will do at upcoming junior national championship in LA in August.

The competition will be great with riders from all over Pennsylvania and New Jersey, the Mid-Atlantics and Kansas. We will also have our guests from Australian racing in the older age groups - Men and Women 15-16 and 17-18. This is going to be the best quality junior one day race in Pennsylvania this season.

There will be State and Lajour medals to top three in each age group, and there will be Norwegian Moen Cow Bells special made for the event to the top five riders in each age group and gender. We will also have a souvenir for all riders participating in the race. Don't miss out!
